red hook bait & tackle - 320 van brunt st - brooklyn, new york. pictured here in 2003, before it became a bar, which is now closed. this one is part of a larger project on red hook. i photographed there between 2003 and 2005 when i lived nearby on court st and west 9th. i used to ride my bike on weekends, sometimes with my son who was about 4 or 5 then, riding along.
